Build and validate the app
Development is underway, with the first version focused on reliable local control and compatibility validation.
FreeWillow gives Willow owners an independent app for reliable everyday control. Your contribution helps us keep building, testing and improving it — and lets you help shape what comes next through the live supporter community.
Every contribution adds capacity to the work already underway.
Development is underway, with the first version focused on reliable local control and compatibility validation.
We are preparing secure access beyond the home network as the next major step.
Later improvements will be prioritised from real owner feedback, technical feasibility and what helps Willow users most.
Your contribution gives FreeWillow more time for development, testing, compatibility and remote connection. Every verified contributor receives access to the private supporter community.
The live supporter community is the practical place to test sooner, bring ideas forward and make priorities visible.
Receive a Community Supporter badge after verification, distinct from the original Founding Supporter badge.
Opt in to early or beta releases before the general public when a test release is available.
Submit feature ideas, improvements and structured feedback in the private supporter community.
Help show which supporter proposals matter most.
See proposal status, vote totals and official FreeWillow notes.
The private supporter community, feedback board, voting and badges are live. Verified contributors outside the original cohort receive the Community Supporter badge and all participation benefits. Original first-€10,000 contributors retain their Founding Supporter badge and receive the same participation benefits. Your voice helps set priorities but does not guarantee implementation; safety, technical feasibility and the final product decision remain decisive.
A calm, multilingual app for the jobs Willow owners need: finding the robot, seeing what it is doing and controlling it locally.
Automatically discover compatible Willow robots; you choose when to connect locally.
View status, start or stop, return to dock and control mowing sessions.
Access Sheriff alerts, recorded images, surveillance timing and the live camera.
View and edit maps, zones, mowing settings, Wi-Fi and robot preferences.
Each Willow is intended to be compatible when it has the latest available robot software. Final compatibility depends on the available robot API and validation during development.
Development is underway. The current phase is building and validating the first version. Exact timing depends on implementation, compatibility testing and what the available robot API supports.
Contributions create more capacity for development, testing, compatibility work, maintenance, remote connection and later improvements.
The first version is designed around practical local-network access using the available robot API. Some functions may still depend on what that API and the robot software make available.
The next product focus is remote connection. After that, improvements will be prioritised from real community feedback, user value, safety and technical feasibility.
FreeWillow is organised independently as a community project. It is not operated by EEVE BV, the curator or the bankruptcy estate.
After verification, contributors receive a Community Supporter badge, early or beta access when available, structured feedback, voting and transparent proposal follow-through. Original first-€10,000 contributors retain the Founding Supporter badge instead.
Your voice helps make community priorities visible, but it does not guarantee implementation. User value, safety, technical feasibility and the final FreeWillow product decision remain decisive.
Remote connection is the next development focus. Access beyond the home network requires additional infrastructure, careful security work and ongoing operation.
The current scope focuses on dependable everyday control. Exact availability remains subject to the robot API, compatibility testing and development validation.
